Sustainability

At Geopard, we strongly believe that sustainability principles are an internal part of business conduct and should be included in all types of business activities, including those where there is no direct impact on natural resources and all impacts are indirect through CO2 emissions from consumed sources.

This is also the case for Geopard, where our mission is to provide IT solutions for precision farming. However, we believe that sustainability is not only about environmental impact, but also about society and the communities in which we work and live.

Our corporate values are also directly linked to the following 7 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

We support good health and well-being, and Geopard is based on the principle of gender equality. In addition, our solutions bring innovative solutions and have the potential to reduce consumption of natural resources and energy and contribute to climate action activities to maintain a favourable life on land for all existing life.

In recent years, we have already implemented (in 2022) our internal “Environmental Management Strategy”, which describes the main objectives for our activities, such as:

• Minimizing  the environmental impact
• Compliance  with environmental legislation and standards
• Increase awareness of environmental issues among our staff
• Continually improve our environmental performance

In 2023, we decided to develop our sustainability values into a comprehensive ESG strategy, as we plan to comply with the EU Sustainability Reporting Principles as early as 2024.

In 2023, we started our ESG experience with the following activities:

• Internal ESG assessment
• Carbon footprint calculation
• Preparation of ESG strategy objectives for 2024
