{"id":7625,"date":"2023-07-21T19:33:15","date_gmt":"2023-07-21T17:33:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/geopard.tech\/?p=7625"},"modified":"2023-07-21T19:33:15","modified_gmt":"2023-07-21T17:33:15","slug":"ukceh-ska-installera-ai-drivna-overvakningsstationer-for-biologisk-mangfald-pa-gardar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/geopard.tech\/swe\/blog\/ukceh-to-deploy-ai-driven-biodiversity-monitoring-stations-at-farms\/","title":{"rendered":"UKCEH ska installera AI-drivna \u00f6vervakningsstationer f\u00f6r biologisk m\u00e5ngfald p\u00e5 g\u00e5rdar"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Under de kommande fyra \u00e5ren planerar forskare att anv\u00e4nda automatiserade sensorer och AI f\u00f6r att bed\u00f6ma effektiviteten av initiativ f\u00f6r restaurering av milj\u00f6n och torvmarker p\u00e5 g\u00e5rdarna.<\/p>\n<p>Det brittiska centret f\u00f6r ekologi och hydrologi (UKCEH) kommer att implementera soldrivna \u00f6vervakningsstationer f\u00f6r biologisk m\u00e5ngfald, utrustade med kameraf\u00e4llor och akustisk inspelningsutrustning, p\u00e5 g\u00e5rdar.<\/p>\n<p>Dessa stationer kommer att placeras strategiskt i omr\u00e5den som till\u00e4mpar utsl\u00e4ppsminskning, f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttring av koldioxidinf\u00e5ngning och st\u00f6djer vilda djur, s\u00e5som jord- och skogsbruk och sl\u00e5tter\u00e4ngar med vildblommor.<\/p>\n<p>Dessa \u00f6vervakningsstationer kommer att m\u00f6jligg\u00f6ra m\u00e4tning av effekterna av dessa system p\u00e5 artpopulationer genom att j\u00e4mf\u00f6ra omr\u00e5den p\u00e5 g\u00e5rden med och utan milj\u00f6\u00e5tg\u00e4rder f\u00f6r jordbruket.<\/p>\n<p>Dessutom kommer dessa stationer att placeras i omr\u00e5den med degraderade torvmarker f\u00f6r att kontrastera artpopulationer p\u00e5 g\u00e5rdar som dr\u00e4neras f\u00f6r jordbruks\u00e4ndam\u00e5l med angr\u00e4nsande platser d\u00e4r \u00e5terfuktningsinsatser skapar v\u00e5tmarkshabitat som fr\u00e4mjar biologisk m\u00e5ngfald och binder koldioxid fr\u00e5n atmosf\u00e4ren.<\/p>\n<p>F\u00f6r att identifiera arter kommer forskare att anv\u00e4nda AI-programvara som kan k\u00e4nna igen dem fr\u00e5n fotografier eller inspelningar av samtal. Denna studie \u00e4r en del av AgZero+, ett fem\u00e5rigt forskningsprogram lett av UKCEH, som syftar till att st\u00f6dja Storbritanniens \u00f6verg\u00e5ng till sitt nya jordbruksst\u00f6dsystem.<\/p>\n<p>Professor Richard Pywell fr\u00e5n UKCEH, som ledde programmet, sa: \u201cGenom att utnyttja den senaste tekniken kommer vi att observera arter p\u00e5 g\u00e5rdar som till\u00e4mpar olika gr\u00f6dor och markf\u00f6rvaltningsmetoder f\u00f6r att visa hur olika jordbrukssystem och milj\u00f6\u00e5tg\u00e4rder f\u00f6r jordbruket p\u00e5verkar populationerna.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cV\u00e5ra \u00f6vervakningsinsatser kommer att ge vetenskapliga bevis som \u00e4r avg\u00f6rande f\u00f6r att utforma h\u00e5llbara markf\u00f6rvaltningspolicyer och metoder som fr\u00e4mjar biologisk m\u00e5ngfald, bek\u00e4mpar klimatf\u00f6r\u00e4ndringar och f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttrar gr\u00f6doproduktionen\u201d, tillade han.<\/p>\n<p>Studien kommer att genomf\u00f6ras p\u00e5 fyra par g\u00e5rdar i Dorset, Wiltshire, Oxfordshire och Northamptonshire.
