En stor del av befolkningen bor p\u00e5 landsbygden, med \u00f6ver 401.300 ton sysselsatta inom jordbrukssektorn.<\/p>\n<p>Sedan Turkmenistan blev sj\u00e4lvst\u00e4ndigt 1991 har landet m\u00f6tt utmaningar i moderniseringen av sina jordbruksmetoder, inklusive avsaknaden av ett modernt system f\u00f6r gr\u00f6d\u00f6vervakning som kan leverera tillf\u00f6rlitliga och aktuella data. Ett s\u00e5dant system \u00e4r avg\u00f6rande f\u00f6r v\u00e4lgrundade beslut, h\u00e5llbar markf\u00f6rvaltning och \u00f6kad produktivitet.<\/p>\n<p>F\u00f6r att \u00e5tg\u00e4rda denna brist har Turkmenistan samarbetat med FN:s livsmedels- och jordbruksorganisation (FAO) f\u00f6r att inf\u00f6ra avancerad fj\u00e4rranalysteknik och expertis inom markanv\u00e4ndnings\u00f6vervakning.<\/p>\n<p>Detta samarbete, inom ramen f\u00f6r det nyligen lanserade projektet FAO Technical Cooperation Programme (TCP), syftar till att optimera processer relaterade till gr\u00f6d\u00f6vervakning, prognoser och statistisk rapportering, samt att testa nya metoder genom f\u00e4lttill\u00e4mpningar. Projektet \u00e4r planerat att p\u00e5g\u00e5 till slutet av 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Den 7 januari 2025 undertecknades projektet officiellt av Viorel Gutu, FAO:s bitr\u00e4dande generaldirekt\u00f6r och regionala representant f\u00f6r Europa och Centralasien, och Charyyar Chetiyev, Turkmenistans jordbruksminister.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFj\u00e4rranalys erbjuder innovativa metoder f\u00f6r datainsamling och analys som kan gynna olika sektorer, inklusive jordbruk, vattenresurshantering och katastrofinsatser\u201d, s\u00e4ger Maxim Gorgan, FAO:s tekniska chef f\u00f6r projektet. \u201cInom jordbruket ger det insikter i n\u00e4ra realtid om s\u00e5dda arealer, vegetationsdynamik, avkastningsuppskattningar, vattenstress, bevattningsplanering och till och med \u00f6vervakning av skadedjur och sjukdomar.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Projektets inledande fas kommer att inneb\u00e4ra en grundlig granskning av befintliga regler och institutionella ramverk relaterade till gr\u00f6d\u00f6vervakning och fj\u00e4rranalys, med rekommendationer f\u00f6r n\u00f6dv\u00e4ndiga f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttringar. Metodiken kommer att integrera avancerad teknik med traditionella statistiska metoder, provtagning och datainsamling.<\/p>\n<p>FAO kommer ocks\u00e5 att utveckla ett skr\u00e4ddarsytt utbildningsprogram f\u00f6r ministeriets personal och Mark Resources Service f\u00f6r att utrusta dem med de f\u00e4rdigheter som beh\u00f6vs f\u00f6r att implementera och anv\u00e4nda det nya fj\u00e4rranalysbaserade systemet f\u00f6r gr\u00f6d\u00f6vervakning. Dessutom kommer initiativet att unders\u00f6ka m\u00f6jligheten att integrera fj\u00e4rranalys i l\u00e4roplanerna f\u00f6r h\u00f6gre utbildning.<\/p>\n<p>F\u00f6r att demonstrera systemets potential kommer pilotomr\u00e5den med olika gr\u00f6dor och agroklimatiska f\u00f6rh\u00e5llanden att etableras. Dessa demonstrationsomr\u00e5den kommer att generera data f\u00f6r att f\u00f6rfina metodiken och informera utvecklingen av ett koncept f\u00f6r att skala upp metoden nationellt.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cF\u00f6r jordbrukare kan den h\u00e4r tekniken hj\u00e4lpa till att identifiera de specifika behoven hos olika omr\u00e5den inom ett f\u00e4lt, vilket m\u00f6jligg\u00f6r en effektivare anv\u00e4ndning av vatten, g\u00f6dningsmedel och andra insatsvaror, vilket i slut\u00e4ndan leder till b\u00e4ttre avkastning\u201d, tillade Gorgan.<\/p>\n<p>Under hela projektet kommer FAO att f\u00f6lja sina regionala och globala riktlinjer, med betoning p\u00e5 j\u00e4mst\u00e4lldhet och ansvarsfull markf\u00f6rvaltning.<\/p>\n<p>Projekt inom ramen f\u00f6r FAO:s program f\u00f6r tekniskt samarbete ger medlemsl\u00e4nderna tillg\u00e5ng till organisationens tekniska expertis och st\u00f6d, vilket bidrar till de globala m\u00e5len f\u00f6r h\u00e5llbar utveckling och fr\u00e4mjar l\u00e5ngsiktig jordbruksutveckling.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jordbruket i Turkmenistan st\u00e5r f\u00f6r en blygsam andel av landets bruttonationalprodukt (BNP), men det har stor strategisk betydelse.
