{"id":7625,"date":"2023-07-21T19:33:15","date_gmt":"2023-07-21T17:33:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/geopard.tech\/?p=7625"},"modified":"2023-07-21T19:33:15","modified_gmt":"2023-07-21T17:33:15","slug":"ukceh-bo-na-kmetijah-namestil-postaje-za-spremljanje-biotske-raznovrstnosti-ki-jih-poganja-umetna-inteligenca","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/geopard.tech\/sl\/blog\/ukceh-to-deploy-ai-driven-biodiversity-monitoring-stations-at-farms\/","title":{"rendered":"UKCEH bo na kmetijah namestil postaje za spremljanje biotske raznovrstnosti, ki jih poganja umetna inteligenca"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>V naslednjih \u0161tirih letih znanstveniki na\u010drtujejo uporabo avtomatiziranih senzorjev in umetne inteligence za oceno u\u010dinkovitosti pobud za obnovo okolja na kmetijah in \u0161oti\u0161\u010d.<\/p>\n<p>Britanski center za ekologijo in hidrologijo (UKCEH) bo na kmetijah namestil postaje za spremljanje biotske raznovrstnosti na son\u010dno energijo, opremljene s kamerami-&quot;pastmi&quot; in opremo za akusti\u010dno snemanje.<\/p>\n<p>Te postaje bodo strate\u0161ko postavljene na obmo\u010djih, kjer se izvaja zmanj\u0161evanje emisij, izbolj\u0161anje zajemanja ogljika in podpora prosto\u017eive\u010dim \u017eivalim, kot so agrogozdarski sistemi in travniki z divjim cvetjem.<\/p>\n<p>Te nadzorne postaje bodo omogo\u010dile merjenje vpliva teh shem na populacije vrst s primerjavo obmo\u010dij kmetije s kmetijsko-okoljskimi ukrepi in brez njih.<\/p>\n<p>Poleg tega bodo te postaje name\u0161\u010dene na degradiranih \u0161oti\u0161\u010dih, da bi primerjali populacije vrst na kmetijah, ki se izsu\u0161ujejo za kmetijske namene, s sosednjimi obmo\u010dji, kjer prizadevanja za ponovno vla\u017eenje ustvarjajo mokri\u0161\u010da, ki spodbujajo biotsko raznovrstnost in ve\u017eejo ogljikov dioksid iz ozra\u010dja.<\/p>\n<p>Za identifikacijo vrst bodo raziskovalci uporabili programsko opremo umetne inteligence, ki jih lahko prepozna s fotografij ali posnetkov klicev. Ta \u0161tudija je del AgZero+, petletnega raziskovalnega programa, ki ga vodi UKCEH in katerega cilj je podpreti prehod Zdru\u017eenega kraljestva na nov sistem kmetijske podpore.<\/p>\n<p>Profesor Richard Pywell iz UKCEH, ki vodi program, je izjavil: \u201cZ izkori\u0161\u010danjem najsodobnej\u0161e tehnologije bomo opazovali vrste na kmetijah, ki izvajajo razli\u010dne prakse upravljanja s pridelki in zemlji\u0161\u010di, da bi prikazali vpliv razli\u010dnih kmetijskih sistemov in kmetijsko-okoljskih ukrepov na populacije.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNa\u0161a prizadevanja za spremljanje bodo zagotovila znanstvene dokaze, ki so klju\u010dni za oblikovanje politik in praks trajnostnega upravljanja zemlji\u0161\u010d, ki spodbujajo biotsko raznovrstnost, se borijo proti podnebnim spremembam in izbolj\u0161ujejo pridelavo polj\u0161\u010din,\u201d je dodal.<\/p>\n<p>\u0160tudija bo izvedena na \u0161tirih parih kmetij v Dorsetu, Wiltshireu, Oxfordshireu in Northamptonshireu. Namen \u0161tudije je primerjati u\u010dinke kmetijsko-okoljskih shem na te kmetije.<\/p>\n<p>Poleg tega bo \u0161tudija ocenila dve \u0161oti\u0161\u010di v Cambridgeshiru \u2013 eno aktivno obdelovano in drugo v fazi obnove.<\/p>\n<p>UKCEH na\u010drtuje, da bo avtomatizirane nadzorne postaje vsako leto namestil na dodatnih lokacijah po vsej Angliji, in sicer od marca do oktobra v letih 2024, 2025 in 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Tom August, ra\u010dunalni\u0161ki ekolog na UKCEH, odgovoren za postavitev nadzornih postaj, je poudaril transformativen vpliv nove senzorske in umetne inteligence na spremljanje biotske raznovrstnosti.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cZ avtomatiziranimi postajami za spremljanje biotske raznovrstnosti na son\u010dno energijo lahko zdaj neprekinjeno opazujemo divje \u017eivali na oddaljenih lokacijah, ne da bi morali biti fizi\u010dno prisotni na kraju samem,\u201d je pojasnil dr.
