Glede na to, da se bodo svetovne potrebe po hrani predvidoma pove\u010dale za 70%, je pritisk na na\u0161e prehranske sisteme ogromen, kar \u0161e poslab\u0161uje znaten okoljski odtis kmetijstva \u2013 odgovornega je za pribli\u017eno 40% svetovne rabe zemlji\u0161\u010d in pomembno prispeva k izgubi habitatov, onesna\u017eevanju in podnebnim spremembam.<\/p>\n<p>Tehnologije preciznega kmetijstva (PAT) \u2013 ki vklju\u010dujejo orodja, kot so traktorji z GPS-vodenjem, droni, senzorji tal, monitorji pridelka in programska oprema za analizo podatkov \u2013 ponujajo svetilnik upanja.<\/p>\n<p>Z omogo\u010danjem kmetom, da z natan\u010dnostjo nana\u0161ajo vodo, gnojila, pesticide in semena, PAT-i obljubljajo ve\u010djo u\u010dinkovitost, vi\u0161je donose, manj\u0161o okoljsko \u0161kodo in izbolj\u0161ano dobi\u010dkonosnost. To je potencialno obojestransko koristno za prehransko varnost in trajnost.<\/p>\n<p>Vendar pa obstaja kriti\u010dna razlika. V Zdru\u017eenih dr\u017eavah Amerike je ve\u010d kot 881 TP3T kmetij razvr\u0161\u010denih kot majhnih (z letnim bruto dohodkom manj kot 1 TP4 250.000). Kentucky je primer tega, saj se pona\u0161a s 69.425 kmetijami s povpre\u010dno velikostjo le 179 hektarjev (kar je bistveno pod nacionalnim povpre\u010djem 463 hektarjev).<\/p>\n<p>Klju\u010dno je, da ima 63% kmetij v Kentuckyju letno prodajo pod $10.000, 97% pa jih je manj\u0161ih od 1.000 hektarjev. Kljub \u0161tevilnim pobudam za spodbujanje PAT-ov je uporaba med temi klju\u010dnimi malimi podjetji \u0161e vedno trmasto nizka.<\/p>\n<p>Zakaj? Obse\u017ena \u0161tudija raziskovalcev na Univerzi v Kentuckyju, v kateri je sodelovalo 98 malih kmetov v Kentuckyju, je uporabila stroge metode za odkrivanje natan\u010dnih dejavnikov, ki vplivajo na sprejetje PAT, in prinesla uporabne vpoglede, podprte s konkretnimi podatki.<\/p>\n<h2>Stopnja sprejetja krajinskega oblikovanja in preciznega kmetijstva na majhnih kmetijah<\/h2>\n<p>Podrobna \u0161tudija raziskovalcev z Univerze v Kentuckyju je \u017eelela odkriti resni\u010dne razloge za nizko uporabo PAT. Anketirali so 98 malih kmetov v Kentuckyju z uporabo me\u0161anice metod: vpra\u0161alnikov po po\u0161ti, osebnih pogovorov in skupinskih razprav.<\/p>\n<p>Ta temeljit pristop je razkril jasno sliko problema sprejemanja. Prvi\u010d, ugotovitve so pokazale, da je le 241 TP3T teh kmetov uporabljalo kakr\u0161ne koli PAT. Povpre\u010dna starost anketiranih je bila 62 let, kar je ve\u010d kot nacionalno povpre\u010dje kmetov, ki zna\u0161a 57,5 let.<\/p>\n<p>Ve\u010dina jih je bila mo\u0161kih (70%) in presenetljivo dobro izobra\u017eenih, pri \u010demer je imel 77% univerzitetno izobrazbo ali vi\u0161jo. Njihove kmetije so v povpre\u010dju obsegale 137,6 hektarjev, s kmetijstvom pa so se ukvarjali v povpre\u010dju pribli\u017eno 27 let.<\/p>\n<p>Kar zadeva dohodek, je 58% poro\u010dal o dohodkih gospodinjstva med $50.000 in $99.999. To ozadje pomaga razlo\u017eiti vzorce posvojitve, ki jih je odkrila statisti\u010dna analiza raziskovalcev.<\/p>\n<h2>Klju\u010dni dejavniki uvedbe preciznega kmetijstva<\/h2>\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\">Raziskovalci so uporabili mo\u010dno statisti\u010dno metodo, imenovano binarna logisti\u010dna regresija. Ta tehnika je odli\u010dna za ugotavljanje, kateri dejavniki najbolj vplivajo na odlo\u010ditev z da ali ne \u2013 na primer sprejetje ali zavrnitev PAT-ov.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\">Njihov model se je izkazal za zelo zanesljivega. Opredeljen je bil s tremi dejavniki, ki so pomembno vplivali na to, ali mali kmet uporablja PAT:<\/p>\n<h3>1. Velikost kmetije (hektarji v lasti\/pod upravljanjem)<\/h3>\n<p>To je bil mo\u010dan pozitiven dejavnik. Preprosto povedano, ve\u010dje kmetije so pogosteje uporabljale PAT-e. Na primer, 541 TP3T kmetov z ve\u010d kot 100 hektarji je sprejelo PAT-e, v primerjavi z le 281 TP3T kmetov, ki ga niso sprejeli, a so imeli kmetije te velikosti.<\/p>\n<p>Znakovito je, da nobeden od posvojiteljev ni imel kmetij med 21 in 50 hektarji, kar je velikost, na kateri je delovalo 19% neposvojiteljev. Statisti\u010dno je model pokazal, da se je za vsak dodaten hektar velikosti kmetije verjetnost posvojitve PAT pove\u010dala za 3% (razmerje verjetnosti = 1,03).<\/p>\n<p>To je smiselno, saj lahko ve\u010dje kmetije visoke za\u010detne stro\u0161ke PAT-ov porazdelijo na ve\u010d zemlji\u0161\u010d, zaradi \u010desar je nalo\u017eba bolj smiselna.<\/p>\n<h3>2. Kmetova starost<\/h3>\n<p>Starost je bila glavni negativni dejavnik, v modelu zelo pomemben. Mlaj\u0161i kmetje so bili veliko bolj nagnjeni k sprejetju. Leta kmetijskih izku\u0161enj<\/h3>\n<p>Zanimivo je, da so ve\u010dje izku\u0161nje dejansko pove\u010dale verjetnost sprejetja, kljub negativnemu u\u010dinku starosti. Kmetje, ki so globoko zakoreninjeni v kmetijstvu, so videli potencialno vrednost.<\/p>\n<p>Polovica (50%) tistih z ve\u010d kot 30 leti izku\u0161enj je sprejela PAT-e, v primerjavi s samo 26% tistih, ki jih niso sprejeli in imajo toliko izku\u0161enj. Vsako dodatno leto kmetijskih izku\u0161enj je pove\u010dalo verjetnost sprejetja za 4% (razmerje verjetnosti = 1,04).<\/p>\n<p>To ka\u017ee, da poglobljeno prakti\u010dno znanje pomaga kmetom prepoznati neu\u010dinkovitosti, ki bi jih lahko re\u0161ili PAT-i, in ceniti dolgoro\u010dne koristi.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\">Presenetljivi dejavniki, ki ne spodbujajo uvedbe preciznih tehnologij<\/h2>\n<p>Zanimivo je, da je \u0161tudija ugotovila tudi, da ve\u010d dejavnikov, za katere se pogosto domneva, da spodbujajo sprejetje, v tem specifi\u010dnem kontekstu ni imelo statisti\u010dno pomembnega vpliva:<\/p>\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><strong>1. Spol:<\/strong>\u00a0\u010ceprav je bilo 791 TP3T posvojiteljev mo\u0161kih v primerjavi z 721 TP3T neposvojiteljev, ta razlika v statisti\u010dnem modelu ni bila dovolj velika, da bi jo \u0161teli za primarni dejavnik. Spol tukaj ni bil klju\u010dni odlo\u010dilni dejavnik.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><strong>2. Dohodek gospodinjstva:<\/strong>\u00a0Raven dohodka ni bistveno napovedovala posvojitve. \u010ceprav je 421 TP3T posvojiteljev zaslu\u017eilo ve\u010d kot 1 TP4T99.999 v primerjavi z 241 TP3T neposvojiteljev in je bilo manj posvojiteljev (131 TP3T) v najni\u017ejem dohodkovnem razredu (&lt;1 TP4T50.000) kot neposvojiteljev (181 TP3T), sam dohodek ni bil glavna sila v modelu.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><strong>3. Stopnja izobrazbe:<\/strong>\u00a0Tudi izobrazba ni bila pomembna. \u010ceprav je imel vi\u0161ji odstotek posvojiteljev (88%) univerzitetno izobrazbo ali ve\u010d v primerjavi z neposvojitelji (77%), ta razlika ni imela mo\u010dnega statisti\u010dnega u\u010dinka na odlo\u010ditev o posvojitvi.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><strong>4. Sorodno strokovno znanje:<\/strong>\u00a0Tudi znanje na podro\u010djih, kot sta agronomija ali stroji, ni bilo pomemben neodvisen dejavnik, \u010deprav je 541 TP3T uporabnikov poro\u010dalo o tak\u0161nem znanju in spretnostih v primerjavi s le 271 TP3T neuporabnikov.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\">Poleg statisti\u010dnih podatkov so kmetje sami jasno izrazili ovire, s katerimi se soo\u010dajo:<\/p>\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><strong>1. Kompleksnost:<\/strong>\u00a0Pribli\u017eno 15% je menilo, da so PAT-i \u201cpreve\u010d zapleteni\u201d. Kmete so skrbeli zapleteni vmesniki, strme krivulje u\u010denja in \u010das, potreben za obvladovanje novih sistemov.
