Ove prijetnje ugro\u017eavaju zdravlje, otpornost i produktivnost prirodnih \u0161uma i \u0161umskih nasada.<\/p>\n<p>U\u010dinkovito upravljanje ovim problemima zahtijeva rano otkrivanje i djelovanje, \u0161to je izazovno na velikim podru\u010djima. Prepoznaju\u0107i va\u017enost toga, istra\u017eiva\u010di su razvili nove tehnologije temeljene na podacima promatranja Zemlje za pra\u0107enje i upravljanje degradacijom \u0161uma.<\/p>\n<p>Nedavna studija predstavlja pristup temeljen na strojnom u\u010denju za identifikaciju o\u0161te\u0107enih \u0161uma kori\u0161tenjem slika daljinskog istra\u017eivanja otvorenog koda sa Sentinela-2, potkrijepljenih podacima iz Google Eartha. Ovaj pristup posebno se fokusira na borealne \u0161ume pogo\u0111ene potkornjakom, Polygraphus proximus Blandford.<\/p>\n<p>Studija je koristila kombinaciju slika daljinskog istra\u017eivanja i algoritama strojnog u\u010denja za otkrivanje i procjenu \u0161tete na \u0161umama. Evo kratkog sa\u017eetka njihove metodologije i nalaza:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Anotacija slike i razvoj algoritma:<\/strong> Istra\u017eiva\u010di su zapo\u010deli ozna\u010davanjem slika u kanalima koji odgovaraju prirodnoj percepciji boja (crvena, zelena i plava) dostupnoj na Google Earthu. Zatim su primijenili duboke neuronske mre\u017ee u dvije formulacije problema: semanti\u010dka segmentacija i detekcija.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Eksperimentalni rezultati:<\/strong> Kroz svoje eksperimente, istra\u017eiva\u010di su razvili model koji kvantitativno procjenjuje promjene u ciljanim objektima s visokom to\u010dno\u0161\u0107u. Model je postigao F1-rezultat od 84.56%, u\u010dinkovito odre\u0111uju\u0107i broj o\u0161te\u0107enih stabala i procjenjuju\u0107i povr\u0161ine koje zauzimaju usahnule sastojine.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Integracija sa slikama Sentinel-2:<\/strong> Maske o\u0161te\u0107enja dobivene iz slika visoke rezolucije integrirane su sa slikama Sentinel-2 srednje rezolucije. Ovom integracijom postignuta je to\u010dnost od 81.26%, \u0161to rje\u0161enje \u010dini prikladnim za operativne sustave pra\u0107enja. Ovaj napredak nudi brzu i isplativu metodu za prepoznavanje o\u0161te\u0107enih \u0161uma u regiji.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Jedinstveni anotirani skup podataka:<\/strong> Osim toga, istra\u017eiva\u010di su sastavili jedinstveni ozna\u010deni skup podataka kako bi identificirali \u0161umska podru\u010dja o\u0161te\u0107ena poligrafskim kukcem u podru\u010dju istra\u017eivanja. Ovaj skup podataka neprocjenjiv je za budu\u0107a istra\u017eivanja i napore pra\u0107enja.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Rano otkrivanje i kvantifikacija degradacije \u0161uma kori\u0161tenjem ovog pristupa fuzije podataka daljinskog istra\u017eivanja predstavljaju zna\u010dajno obe\u0107anje za strategije gospodarenja \u0161umama i o\u010duvanja. Omogu\u0107avanjem pravovremenog djelovanja, takve tehnologije mogu pomo\u0107i u ograni\u010davanju \u0161irenja \u0161tete i podr\u017eati odr\u017eive prakse gospodarenja \u0161umama.<\/p>\n<p>Iako cjeloviti rad s detaljima ovog istra\u017eivanja tek treba biti objavljen, ovaj rani sa\u017eetak isti\u010de potencijal integracije podataka daljinskog istra\u017eivanja s naprednim tehnikama strojnog u\u010denja kako bi se rije\u0161io goru\u0107i problem degradacije \u0161uma.
