Ovo pobolj\u0161anje zadovoljava kriti\u010dnu potrebu za to\u010dnim procjenama slanosti tla, \u0161to je glavni problem koji utje\u010de na poljoprivrednu produktivnost i zdravlje tla diljem svijeta.<\/p>\n<p>Slanost tla, vrsta degradacije zemlji\u0161ta, utje\u010de na preko milijardu hektara diljem svijeta, \u0161tete\u0107i poljoprivrednoj produktivnosti i zdravlju okoli\u0161a. Prethodni napori mapiranja slanosti tla suo\u010davali su se s izazovima zbog niske razine detalja dostupnih skupova podataka i pote\u0161ko\u0107a u prikazivanju kontinuiranih promjena u razinama slanosti tla.<\/p>\n<p>Prepoznaju\u0107i ove izazove, istra\u017eiva\u010dki tim krenuo je u izradu modela koji koristi slike Sentinel-1\/2, klimatske podatke, podatke o terenu i napredne algoritme strojnog u\u010denja. Njihov je cilj bio procijeniti sadr\u017eaj soli u tlu u pet klimatskih regija.<\/p>\n<p>Rezultati su objavljeni u radu 28. o\u017eujka 2024. u \u010dasopisu Journal of Remote Sensing. Ovaj pristup doveo je do razvoja naprednog modela sposobnog za to\u010dno mapiranje slanosti tla s izvanrednom precizno\u0161\u0107u - rezolucijom od 10 metara, \u010dak i u razli\u010ditim klimama.<\/p>\n<p>Ova revolucionarna metoda vodi nas daleko izvan ograni\u010denja prethodnih napora, koji su bili ograni\u010deni ni\u017eom rezolucijom i u\u017eim fokusom na analizu slanosti tla. Na\u0161 predani istra\u017eiva\u010dki tim sastavio je opse\u017ean skup podataka koji obuhva\u0107a globalne klimatske obrasce, precizna mjerenja slanosti tla na razini tla i sveobuhvatan niz geoprostornih varijabli.<\/p>\n<p>Primjenom algoritma Random Forest, model se isti\u010de ne samo u predvi\u0111anju slanosti tla s izvanrednom to\u010dno\u0161\u0107u, ve\u0107 i osvjetljava klju\u010dne uloge koje klima, razina podzemnih voda i indeksi slanosti igraju u formiranju krajolika slanosti tla. Ovaj napredak ozna\u010dava korak naprijed u na\u0161oj sposobnosti pra\u0107enja i upravljanja zdravljem tla na globalnoj razini.<\/p>\n<p>Profesor Zhou Shi, glavni istra\u017eiva\u010d, izrazio je: \u201cOva studija predstavlja zna\u010dajan napredak u na\u0161oj sposobnosti procjene i rje\u0161avanja slanosti tla na globalnoj razini. Ova karta je vrijedan alat za znanstvenike, kreatore politika i poljoprivrednike. Poma\u017ee im da u\u010dinkovito rje\u0161avaju probleme saliniteta tla.
