Leur \u00e9tude, publi\u00e9e le 2 f\u00e9vrier 2025, met en \u00e9vidence de fortes corr\u00e9lations entre l&#039;utilisation d&#039;engrais azot\u00e9s, les taux d&#039;humidit\u00e9 et les concentrations de nicotine, soulignant ainsi l&#039;importance de techniques de surveillance pr\u00e9cises et mises en \u0153uvre en temps opportun.<\/p>\n<p>L&#039;\u00e9tude a \u00e9t\u00e9 men\u00e9e de mai \u00e0 septembre 2022 \u00e0 la base de recherche agricole moderne de l&#039;universit\u00e9, o\u00f9 les chercheurs ont utilis\u00e9 des v\u00e9hicules a\u00e9riens sans pilote (UAV) \u00e9quip\u00e9s de cam\u00e9ras hyperspectrales pour capturer les spectres de r\u00e9flectance des feuilles de 15 vari\u00e9t\u00e9s diff\u00e9rentes de feuilles de cigare sous divers traitements \u00e0 l&#039;azote.<\/p>\n<p>Leurs r\u00e9sultats ont r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 une corr\u00e9lation directe entre l&#039;application d&#039;engrais azot\u00e9s et les niveaux de nicotine dans les feuilles de cigare. \u201c\u00a0Plus la dose d&#039;engrais azot\u00e9 appliqu\u00e9e augmentait, plus la teneur en nicotine des feuilles de cigare augmentait\u00a0\u201d, ont indiqu\u00e9 les auteurs, soulignant ainsi l&#039;impact des pratiques agricoles sur la qualit\u00e9 du produit.<\/p>\n<p>Afin d&#039;am\u00e9liorer la qualit\u00e9 des donn\u00e9es d&#039;imagerie hyperspectrale collect\u00e9es par drones, l&#039;\u00e9tude a eu recours \u00e0 des techniques de pr\u00e9traitement telles que la correction de la diffusion multivari\u00e9e, la transformation normale standard et le lissage par convolution de Savitzky-Golay. Des algorithmes d&#039;apprentissage automatique avanc\u00e9s, notamment la r\u00e9gression des moindres carr\u00e9s partiels (PLSR) et les r\u00e9seaux de neurones \u00e0 r\u00e9tropropagation, ont ensuite \u00e9t\u00e9 appliqu\u00e9s pour d\u00e9velopper des mod\u00e8les pr\u00e9dictifs capables d&#039;estimer avec pr\u00e9cision la teneur en nicotine.<\/p>\n<p>Le mod\u00e8le le plus performant identifi\u00e9 \u00e9tait le mod\u00e8le MSC-SNV-SG-CARS-BP, qui a atteint une pr\u00e9cision de test avec des valeurs R\u00b2 d&#039;environ 0,797 et une RMSE de 0,078. \u201c Le mod\u00e8le MSC-SNV-SG-CARS-BP pr\u00e9sente la meilleure pr\u00e9cision de pr\u00e9diction de la teneur en nicotine \u201d, ont not\u00e9 les auteurs, le positionnant comme un outil prometteur pour les recherches futures et les applications en agriculture de pr\u00e9cision.<\/p>\n<p>L&#039;analyse spectrale des feuilles de cigares par t\u00e9l\u00e9d\u00e9tection permet aux agriculteurs et aux producteurs d&#039;\u00e9valuer rapidement et sans destruction la qualit\u00e9 de leur r\u00e9colte, et ainsi de prendre des d\u00e9cisions plus \u00e9clair\u00e9es concernant la production et la cha\u00eene d&#039;approvisionnement.
