Ils ont pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 leurs conclusions lors de l&#039;\u00e9v\u00e9nement organis\u00e9 par l&#039;Universit\u00e9 de Hohenheim sur le th\u00e8me \u201c Promouvoir la biodiversit\u00e9 gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l&#039;agriculture num\u00e9rique \u201d, en mettant l&#039;accent sur les pratiques agricoles respectueuses de l&#039;environnement et leurs impacts financiers.<\/p>\n<p>Leur projet, \u201c\u00a0Agriculture du futur\u00a0\u201d, visait \u00e0 explorer de nouvelles m\u00e9thodes agricoles, notamment la culture intercalaire en bandes. Cette technique consiste \u00e0 cultiver diff\u00e9rentes plantes c\u00f4te \u00e0 c\u00f4te, en bandes, au sein d&#039;une m\u00eame parcelle, ce qui pourrait r\u00e9duire le recours aux produits chimiques et favoriser la biodiversit\u00e9. Les chercheurs souhaitaient trouver des solutions pour rendre l&#039;agriculture plus respectueuse de l&#039;environnement tout en pr\u00e9servant sa rentabilit\u00e9 pour les agriculteurs.<\/p>\n<p>Men\u00e9e par Olivia Spykman et Markus Gandorfer de LfL, en collaboration avec Victoria Sorokina de GeoPard, cette initiative a vu le jour dans le cadre du programme EIT Food Accelerator. Forts de leurs connaissances en agriculture, en outils num\u00e9riques et en analyse de donn\u00e9es, ils se sont attel\u00e9s \u00e0 l&#039;\u00e9tude des aspects \u00e9conomiques des pratiques agricoles durables.<\/p>\n<p>Alors que <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">S\u2019agissant de la r\u00e9duction des intrants de synth\u00e8se et de l\u2019augmentation de la biodiversit\u00e9, les chercheurs ont constat\u00e9 que le potentiel \u00e9cologique de la culture intercalaire en bandes est bien document\u00e9. Toutefois, sa m\u00e9canisation et son co\u00fbt en main-d\u2019\u0153uvre, notamment avec des \u00e9quipements autonomes, n\u00e9cessitent une \u00e9valuation plus approfondie. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>Ils ont constat\u00e9 que les agriculteurs \u00e9taient sceptiques quant \u00e0 la faisabilit\u00e9 de cette m\u00e9thode, notamment face aux nouvelles technologies. Pour y rem\u00e9dier, ils ont discut\u00e9 avec des agriculteurs sur un terrain exp\u00e9rimental de culture intercalaire en bandes afin de mieux comprendre leurs pr\u00e9occupations et d&#039;am\u00e9liorer la communication.<\/p>\n<p>De plus, les modifications du paysage peuvent susciter des r\u00e9ticences chez les agriculteurs\u00a0; il est donc important de leur fournir des informations claires en amont. Par cons\u00e9quent, les outils num\u00e9riques, tels que les visualisations, peuvent faciliter la communication entre les agriculteurs et leurs communaut\u00e9s, favorisant ainsi l\u2019acceptation et l\u2019appr\u00e9ciation des transformations du paysage b\u00e9n\u00e9fiques pour l\u2019environnement.<\/p>\n<p>En Nouvelle-Z\u00e9lande, par exemple, des agriculteurs ont utilis\u00e9 des casques de r\u00e9alit\u00e9 virtuelle pour visualiser les zones propices au reboisement, facilitant ainsi la planification \u00e0 l&#039;\u00e9chelle de l&#039;exploitation en illustrant les impacts sur la rentabilit\u00e9 agricole, l&#039;esth\u00e9tique du paysage et les communaut\u00e9s rurales. Ces visualisations peuvent am\u00e9liorer la compr\u00e9hension et l&#039;int\u00e9r\u00eat des agriculteurs pour les transformations du paysage, m\u00eame si leur mise en \u0153uvre r\u00e9ussie d\u00e9pend \u00e9galement de leur confiance en eux.<\/p>\n<p>De m\u00eame, dans cette recherche, le logiciel en nuage GeoPard a \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9 pour analyser un syst\u00e8me de production de cultures intercalaires en bandes sous diff\u00e9rents angles. Les \u00e9quations de GeoPard ont \u00e9t\u00e9 param\u00e9tr\u00e9es \u00e0 l&#039;aide de donn\u00e9es empiriques issues du projet Future Crop Farming. Les donn\u00e9es provenaient de fichiers .xlsx et .shp. Cependant, le fichier shapefile ne contenait pas suffisamment d&#039;informations sur chaque bande, ce qui a n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 l&#039;int\u00e9gration de diff\u00e9rents formats de donn\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>GeoPard a facilit\u00e9 l&#039;organisation spatiale des donn\u00e9es afin de relier les d\u00e9tails sp\u00e9cifiques \u00e0 chaque bande \u00e0 leur emplacement respectif sur le terrain. Ainsi, l&#039;ensemble de donn\u00e9es int\u00e9gr\u00e9, affichant les bandes, a constitu\u00e9 la base de l&#039;analyse descriptive des essais dans GeoPard.<\/p>\n<p>Bien que la recherche n&#039;ait pas examin\u00e9 l&#039;application \u00e0 dose variable des intrants, la cartographie haute r\u00e9solution de GeoPard (taille de pixel\u00a0: 3\u00a0\u00d7\u00a03\u00a0m\u00e8tres) a permis une visualisation d\u00e9taill\u00e9e au niveau du pixel, ce qui a enrichi l&#039;analyse.
