Suur osa elanikkonnast elab maapiirkondades ja \u00fcle 401 000 t\u00f6\u00f6taja t\u00f6\u00f6tab p\u00f5llumajandussektoris.<\/p>\n<p>P\u00e4rast iseseisvumist 1991. aastal on T\u00fcrkmenistan silmitsi seisnud v\u00e4ljakutsetega oma p\u00f5llumajandustavade kaasajastamisel, sealhulgas kaasaegse p\u00f5llukultuuride seires\u00fcsteemi puudumisega, mis suudaks anda usaldusv\u00e4\u00e4rseid ja \u00f5igeaegseid andmeid. Projekt kestab 2026. aasta l\u00f5puni.<\/p>\n<p>7. jaanuaril 2025 allkirjastasid projekti ametlikult FAO peadirektori aset\u00e4itja ja Euroopa ja Kesk-Aasia piirkondlik esindaja Viorel Gutu ning T\u00fcrkmenistani p\u00f5llumajandusminister Charyyar Chetiyev.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKaugseire pakub uuenduslikke andmete kogumise ja anal\u00fc\u00fcsi meetodeid, mis v\u00f5ivad olla kasulikud mitmesugustele sektoritele, sealhulgas p\u00f5llumajandusele, veevarude haldamisele ja katastroofidele reageerimisele,\u201d \u00fctles Maxim Gorgan, FAO projekti juhtiv tehniline ametnik. \u201cP\u00f5llumajanduses annab see peaaegu reaalajas \u00fclevaate k\u00fclvipindadest, taimestiku d\u00fcnaamikast, saagikuse hinnangutest, veestressist, niisutusplaneerimisest ning isegi kahjurite ja haiguste seirest.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Projekti algfaasis vaadatakse p\u00f5hjalikult l\u00e4bi olemasolevad p\u00f5llukultuuride seire ja kaugseirega seotud eeskirjad ja institutsioonilised raamistikud ning esitatakse soovitused vajalike t\u00e4iustuste kohta. Metoodika integreerib t\u00e4iustatud tehnoloogia traditsiooniliste statistiliste meetodite, valimi moodustamise ja andmete kogumisega.<\/p>\n<p>FAO t\u00f6\u00f6tab v\u00e4lja ka ministeeriumi t\u00f6\u00f6tajatele ja maavarade teenistusele kohandatud koolitusprogrammi, et varustada neid uue kaugseirep\u00f5hise p\u00f5llukultuuride seires\u00fcsteemi rakendamiseks ja k\u00e4itamiseks vajalike oskustega. Lisaks uurib algatus kaugseire integreerimist k\u00f5rghariduse \u00f5ppekavadesse.<\/p>\n<p>S\u00fcsteemi potentsiaali demonstreerimiseks rajatakse katsealad erinevate p\u00f5llukultuuride ja agroklimaatiliste tingimustega.
