{"id":7625,"date":"2023-07-21T19:33:15","date_gmt":"2023-07-21T17:33:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/geopard.tech\/?p=7625"},"modified":"2023-07-21T19:33:15","modified_gmt":"2023-07-21T17:33:15","slug":"ukceh-wird-ki-gestutzte-biodiversitatsuberwachungsstationen-auf-landwirtschaftlichen-betrieben-einsetzen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/geopard.tech\/de\/blog\/ukceh-to-deploy-ai-driven-biodiversity-monitoring-stations-at-farms\/","title":{"rendered":"UKCEH wird KI-gest\u00fctzte Biodiversit\u00e4ts\u00fcberwachungsstationen auf Bauernh\u00f6fen einsetzen"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In den kommenden vier Jahren planen Wissenschaftler, automatisierte Sensoren und KI einzusetzen, um die Wirksamkeit von Ma\u00dfnahmen zur Wiederherstellung der landwirtschaftlichen Umwelt und von Torfmooren zu bewerten.<\/p>\n<p>Das britische Zentrum f\u00fcr \u00d6kologie und Hydrologie (UKCEH) wird auf Bauernh\u00f6fen solarbetriebene Biodiversit\u00e4ts\u00fcberwachungsstationen einrichten, die mit Kamerafallen und akustischen Aufnahmeger\u00e4ten ausgestattet sind.<\/p>\n<p>Diese Stationen werden strategisch in Gebieten platziert, in denen Emissionsreduzierung, Verbesserung der Kohlenstoffbindung und Unterst\u00fctzung der Tierwelt praktiziert werden, wie z. B. Agroforstwirtschaft und Wildblumenwiesen.<\/p>\n<p>Mithilfe dieser \u00dcberwachungsstationen kann der Einfluss dieser Ma\u00dfnahmen auf die Artenpopulationen gemessen werden, indem Bereiche des landwirtschaftlichen Betriebs mit und ohne Agrarumweltma\u00dfnahmen verglichen werden.<\/p>\n<p>Dar\u00fcber hinaus werden diese Stationen in degradierten Torfgebieten eingerichtet, um die Artenpopulationen auf landwirtschaftlichen Betrieben, die zu landwirtschaftlichen Zwecken entw\u00e4ssert werden, mit benachbarten Standorten zu vergleichen, an denen durch Wiedervern\u00e4ssungsma\u00dfnahmen Feuchtgebiete geschaffen werden, die die Artenvielfalt f\u00f6rdern und Kohlendioxid aus der Atmosph\u00e4re binden.<\/p>\n<p>Zur Artenidentifizierung nutzen die Forscher eine KI-Software, die Arten anhand von Fotos oder Rufaufnahmen erkennen kann. Diese Studie ist Teil von AgZero+, einem f\u00fcnfj\u00e4hrigen Forschungsprogramm unter der Leitung des UKCEH, das den \u00dcbergang Gro\u00dfbritanniens zu seinem neuen Agrarf\u00f6rdersystem unterst\u00fctzen soll.<\/p>\n<p>Professor Richard Pywell vom UKCEH, der das Programm leitet, erkl\u00e4rte: \u201cDurch den Einsatz modernster Technologie werden wir Arten auf landwirtschaftlichen Betrieben beobachten, die verschiedene Anbau- und Landbewirtschaftungsmethoden anwenden, um die Auswirkungen verschiedener Anbausysteme und Agrarumweltma\u00dfnahmen auf die Populationen aufzuzeigen.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUnsere \u00dcberwachungsbem\u00fchungen werden wissenschaftliche Erkenntnisse liefern, die f\u00fcr die Gestaltung nachhaltiger Landbewirtschaftungspolitiken und -praktiken von entscheidender Bedeutung sind, welche die Biodiversit\u00e4t f\u00f6rdern, den Klimawandel bek\u00e4mpfen und die Ernteertr\u00e4ge verbessern\u201d, f\u00fcgte er hinzu.<\/p>\n<p>Die Studie wird auf vier landwirtschaftlichen Betriebenpaaren in Dorset, Wiltshire, Oxfordshire und Northamptonshire durchgef\u00fchrt.
