Ein Gro\u00dfteil der Bev\u00f6lkerung lebt in l\u00e4ndlichen Gebieten, und \u00fcber 401.000 Erwerbst\u00e4tige sind im Agrarsektor besch\u00e4ftigt.<\/p>\n<p>Seit der Unabh\u00e4ngigkeit 1991 steht Turkmenistan vor Herausforderungen bei der Modernisierung seiner Landwirtschaft, insbesondere dem Fehlen eines zeitgem\u00e4\u00dfen Ernte\u00fcberwachungssystems, das zuverl\u00e4ssige und aktuelle Daten liefert. Ein solches System ist jedoch unerl\u00e4sslich f\u00fcr fundierte Entscheidungen, nachhaltiges Landmanagement und eine Steigerung der Produktivit\u00e4t.<\/p>\n<p>Um diese L\u00fccke zu schlie\u00dfen, hat Turkmenistan eine Partnerschaft mit der Ern\u00e4hrungs- und Landwirtschaftsorganisation der Vereinten Nationen (FAO) geschlossen, um fortschrittliche Fernerkundungstechnologien und Fachwissen im Bereich der Landnutzungs\u00fcberwachung einzuf\u00fchren.<\/p>\n<p>Diese Kooperation im Rahmen des neu gestarteten FAO-Programms f\u00fcr technische Zusammenarbeit (TCP) zielt darauf ab, Prozesse im Zusammenhang mit der \u00dcberwachung, Prognose und statistischen Berichterstattung von Nutzpflanzen zu optimieren sowie neue Methoden durch Feldanwendungen zu erproben. Das Projekt ist bis Ende 2026 angelegt.<\/p>\n<p>Am 7. Januar 2025 wurde das Projekt offiziell von Viorel Gutu, stellvertretender Generaldirektor der FAO und Regionalvertreter f\u00fcr Europa und Zentralasien, und Charyyar Chetiyev, dem Landwirtschaftsminister Turkmenistans, unterzeichnet.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDie Fernerkundung bietet innovative Methoden zur Datenerfassung und -analyse, von denen verschiedene Sektoren profitieren k\u00f6nnen, darunter Landwirtschaft, Wasserwirtschaft und Katastrophenschutz\u201d, sagte Maxim Gorgan, leitender technischer Mitarbeiter der FAO f\u00fcr das Projekt. \u201cIn der Landwirtschaft liefert sie nahezu in Echtzeit Einblicke in Anbaufl\u00e4chen, Vegetationsdynamik, Ertragssch\u00e4tzungen, Wasserstress, Bew\u00e4sserungsplanung und sogar die \u00dcberwachung von Sch\u00e4dlingen und Krankheiten.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Die erste Phase des Projekts umfasst eine gr\u00fcndliche \u00dcberpr\u00fcfung der bestehenden Vorschriften und institutionellen Rahmenbedingungen f\u00fcr die Pflanzenbeobachtung und Fernerkundung sowie Empfehlungen f\u00fcr notwendige Verbesserungen. Die Methodik integriert fortschrittliche Technologien mit traditionellen statistischen Methoden, Stichprobenverfahren und Datenerhebung.<\/p>\n<p>Die FAO wird zudem ein ma\u00dfgeschneidertes Schulungsprogramm f\u00fcr die Mitarbeiter des Ministeriums und des Landressourcendienstes entwickeln, um sie mit den notwendigen Kenntnissen f\u00fcr die Implementierung und den Betrieb des neuen, fernerkundungsbasierten Systems zur Ernte\u00fcberwachung auszustatten. Dar\u00fcber hinaus wird die Initiative die Integration der Fernerkundung in die Hochschullehrpl\u00e4ne pr\u00fcfen.<\/p>\n<p>Um das Potenzial des Systems zu demonstrieren, werden Pilotfl\u00e4chen mit verschiedenen Nutzpflanzen und unter unterschiedlichen agroklimatischen Bedingungen angelegt. Diese Demonstrationsfl\u00e4chen liefern Daten zur Verfeinerung der Methodik und zur Entwicklung eines Konzepts f\u00fcr die landesweite Ausweitung des Ansatzes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cF\u00fcr Landwirte kann diese Technologie dabei helfen, die spezifischen Bed\u00fcrfnisse verschiedener Bereiche innerhalb eines Feldes zu ermitteln, was eine effizientere Nutzung von Wasser, D\u00fcngemitteln und anderen Betriebsmitteln erm\u00f6glicht und letztendlich zu besseren Ertr\u00e4gen f\u00fchrt\u201d, f\u00fcgte Gorgan hinzu.<\/p>\n<p>W\u00e4hrend des gesamten Projekts wird die FAO ihre regionalen und globalen Richtlinien einhalten und dabei die Gleichstellung der Geschlechter und eine verantwortungsvolle Landnutzung besonders ber\u00fccksichtigen.<\/p>\n<p>Die Projekte des FAO-Programms f\u00fcr technische Zusammenarbeit erm\u00f6glichen den Mitgliedsl\u00e4ndern den Zugang zum technischen Fachwissen und zur Unterst\u00fctzung der Organisation und tragen so zu den Zielen f\u00fcr nachhaltige Entwicklung bei und f\u00f6rdern die langfristige landwirtschaftliche Entwicklung.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Die Landwirtschaft in Turkmenistan tr\u00e4gt zwar nur einen bescheidenen Anteil zum Bruttoinlandsprodukt (BIP) des Landes bei, ist aber von erheblicher strategischer Bedeutung.
